Internet Olympics rules
Rules
- Multiple teams of 3.
- Each team shares one laptop (for simplicity).
- Teams will take turns selecting a game for everyone to compete at, randomly, from either the Wheel of Games™ or the Wheel of Wordle™
- Sample games:
- TimeGuessr - Guess the year and location of photos
- Wikipedia Race - Race between Wikipedia articles
- TypeRacer - Type as fast as you can
- Sample Wordles:
- Costcodle - Guess the price of the Costco product
- Muni Routle - Guess the SF Muni route based on shape
- Angle - Guess the geometric angle
- For certain games in the Wheel of Wordle, the challenging team may also choose whether the competition is speed-based (fastest answer wins) or golf-based (lowest guess count wins)
- Sample games:
- Point distributions TBD. Tentatively:
- Each round, the team with the highest score earns
num_of_teams - 1
points - Other teams earn less depending on their score
- The competition ends when either a team hits some threshold of points or we play some number of games
