A replica cocktail from Mac’s Shack, a seafood restaurant in Wellfleet, Cape Cod. I first tried it 2026-07-06. Sorta guessing at the proportions.

Flavor profile

Gentle on the palette / goes down easy, creamy rather than sweet, very coconut-y

Ingredients

• 1.5oz vodka
• 0.75oz coconut rum
• 0.75oz Coco Lopez
  • (this is the brand used for pina coladas too btw. Probably best to get it specifically)
• 0.75oz lime juice

Preparation

• Add everything to a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice.
• Shake vigorously for >=15 seconds. Cream of coconut is thick and requires a hard shake with ice to emulsify properly with the liquids.
• Double strain into a chilled martini glass (to catch any fine ice shards or coconut solids)
• (Optional) Garnish with a lime
